I hope your transition to AA goes well. Seriously, AA is a far better airline for the EXP (customer service and benefits) than AA is for Plats. Hopefully you willl be able to join the ranks of EXP - 100K Q points from flying 66.7K higher fare miles works. If I couldn't make EXP, I wouldn't choose AA right now.
And for those who keep saying UA is way better, I am an AA EXP, CO Plat, UA 1P (soon to be 1K)....so I do have an idea of how AA and UA and CO compare. The AA product is not way behind the UA product, except on certain special routes. UA PS trancon product, on the couple routes it is offered, it superior to AA's transcon product. But both AA and UA have a better premium transcon offering than CO (only a couple routes though). AA has a better CS phone # for its top tiers, with UA sericously lagging behind in this area.
