The shoulder strap connector has fallen to pieces (sping has come out) on my Tumi leather laptop bag. I've taken a look at the website and it states that all goods returned to Tumi must be accompanied by a proof of purchase receipt.
I bought this bag about 16 months ago in Boston and can't find the receipt anywhere. Is it likely to matter i.e. will it be more than the usual $15 processing fee? The repair centre is closed in the UK until Monday.
