I agree 100 million percent!!!! ;o) it has been discussed, I am sure many times on here.....But as someone who is new to flying a lot, I caught on quickly that I was the only one who checked in bags that "should be checked in". So I dont any longer either. It is ridiculous the amount of time spent "loading bags" in the overhead. If the airlines wanted to truly improve their times, they would eliminate travelers carrying on everything.
I agree with this concept, but there are some valid complaints with checking bags - unreasonable delays, dammaged or lost baggage, etc.. Now, if I could check my fairly small rolling bag planeside and pick it up at the jetway after the flight, I'd be more than happy to hand it off.
