Personal experience here.
Went to US Embassy in BKK last year to have pages added. It took 20 minutes and was free. The consular service has short hours(07:30-11:00 and 13:00-14:00) also closed all Thai holidays( I think there are about 100 of these ) and all US holidays plus the last Friday of each month. I want this job. :-: :-: :-: All and all a great experience. The embassy is a 5 minute wak from The Ploenchit sky train station.
