The embassy in Wellington wouldn't do it for me (referred me to the consulate in Auckland), though when I was in Australia two weeks ago I walked into the consulate in Sydney and had pages added. I'd certainly give that a try if you have time in Asia. I've seen the previous posts that Singapore only takes about 15 minutes to process (took about 45 for me in Sydney).
