Does anyone know how CO chooses the accounts "eligible" for the mileathon promotion? One of my Silver friends got picked last year and this year, but this year I didn't; hardly seems like a way to reward my loyalty (except for a few trips BWI-BDL on Southwest, because it's just SO cheap).

I called OP to ak about it, and they just said sorry, you weren't picked, no, our marketing department keeps the selection process confidential. I didn't push the complaint any farther, but I really think the offer should be either available to everyone or have some set selection criteria.

It got me an extra 10k miles when I did it last year!
