Sadly, confusion arises (not for the first time with AA25 promotions ).

From the terms and conditions:

Up to 6,250 bonus mile per rental anniversary offer valid from 05/01/06 to 12/31/06 in the contiguous U.S., Canada, Latin America, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Good, so my Canada rental in June qualifies .

BUT:
Offer is available for U.S. and Canadian residents only for rentals at participating locations in the U.S.

So NOT Canada then, nor for me as an 'alien'.

What are they on about? I've booked with Alamo, bonus miles (I hope) and a lower rate.
