By the way...semi-off-topic...but United is also running these 25th Anniversary promotions, and their Marriott offer is a timeshare presentation that includes 25,000 bonus miles. But...the front-money is a couple hundred bucks higher than the traditional AA offers. ($850 vs. the usual $599, and United doesn't kick in the rental car like AA usually does. Same number of nights included...five.)
So, if AA's Hawaii deal is a timeshare thing that interests you, make sure you compare/contrast it with United's.
The one upside to the United offer is that you can book it until 12/31 and travel until early 2008. Most of these AA deals require you to act immediately - most of them will disappear on May 31st.
