One would think that when they receive an old fat passport for renewal with requests for a larger passport that they'd honor the request but that is not always the case.
I had my passport made in person at NYC, I repeatedly asked for the
48 page passport (with a note on the application)
I get my passport 2 hours later, nice and slim - 24 pages.. eh!
I guess I'll have to wait in line again to get the pages added.
