Just a quick update that the rolling year status check is still working. I just hit my 20th night this year, added to my 55 nights from April-Dec of last year and I was upgraded to Platinum. I was Platinum back in 2001 I believe so it's not completely for "newbies" as has been previously posted. Thanks Marriott!
