Dash Pilot,
You will find 99.99% of the Delta Forum posters agreeing with you about Leo Mullin's culpability and the resulting catastrophe for Delta, its employees, and its passengers.
That, however, does not negate the fact that Delta is today a bankrupt airline with an extremely thin margin keeping it from closing shop completely.
Pilots' salaries play a big part in whether or not Delta can stay in business. Even if the pilots were to agree to all of Delta's demands there is no certainty that it will recover -- but a strike would guarantee that the company will go belly up.
Is that really to anybody's advantage?
