With Aadvantage miles when dealing with a deceased account member an affidavit is sent to whoever is the executor of the estate. If there is more than one heir stated in the will this affidavit must be signed by all parties. The miles will be distributed as stated in the will. If an individual named in the will does not have an aadvantage account one will be opened for them. AA requires a copy of the death certificate, a copy of the will showing who the executor is, the signed affidavit, and a transfer fee of $50.
