I use a logitech wireless keyboard, connected to my docking station for my laptop. Today it stopped working. Ok, not a problem - needs new batteries.

Put in the batteries - nothing. Try again, get some typing but it did 2 or 3 characters and then became stuck on a key, even though the key wasn't depressed. it was rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (forever)

Try again - now nothing from the keyboard at all.

Any ideas what is going on here? Is it pooched and I need a new one? It is about 2 yrs old, maybe a bit older.
