To Upgrade or Not To????

Ok the Story and Question,

I have a flight to TLV upcoming in the next week+, Im booked in "N" class to go to "H" it will cost me an extra $505 which is $405 plus $100 change fee , now I can get Confirmed for the Upgrade to BF , this flight is appx 10+hrs , or I can Upgrade my "N" for $300 & 30,000 miles. as of now the back is way Empty with a good chance of getting 3 seats for myself, but nothing is gauranteed. Im 6'2" so it wont be the most restful sleep even if I can grab the 3 seats.

I usually do this Run/Flight in Coach, I just was able to switch a Standard Coach to Standard BF to AMS in May, I figured that was worth the extra 25,000 miles as its an Award tkt so no Copay ( way back is n Coach but its a Day flight that leaves at 1:30pm so I dont mind the back for that.)

On 1 hand I HATE to give CO both the Miles and the $$$, on the other I'll get a nice sleep over even thou its the #84 which leaves at 3;50pm and not the 90 which is a Night Flight. Only decent seat left is 9E, I Hate the windows and Seat Guru showed the other available all to be less desirable as they are on top of the Lavs.

So what to do , give in to CO and pay up with the miles and $300 or go Coach. Out of Principle I want to remain in Coach. But no sense Cutting off my head cause I dont like my Nose. Ive never done BF on any Intl flight.

forgot to say as a Plat the flight itself will bring me back appx 13,000 miles or the net loss in miles is Only 17,000
