It does seem to be assessed as rolling - for new entrants to the program, anyway.

I've been given platinum, but I had not asked. I joined during the year - March, I think, stayed 68 nights so ended up gold. Have not had a membership card yet. In January, the online system said gold, 0 nights stayed, 75 required for platinum.

I stayed another 10 days or so during January. Actually, these seemed to take a long time to get posted. Just checked now - online system is saying I have platinum status, and that I have stayed those january nights towards renewal.

So, for new entrants at least, the 'year' seems to be a rolling year.

I think I'll choose to stay with them again, now.
