During my time at the new Disney's Animal Kingdom in Orlando in January, I kept having mental flashes of flyertalk. I figured it was because I had rec'd so much good advice here. But, sitting down with my kids over the weekend to watch Lion King II, Simba's Pride, I realized the connection: the Baobab tree is featured prominantly in the movie, AND is the centerpiece at D's AK!! In fact, a (plaster) Baobab is the center of that park the way Cinderella's castle is the centerpiece of the Magic Kingdom!

They also feature some live baobabs on the "safari adventure" ride at the park. Truly majestic trees, but how does it feel, Baobab, to have your handle co-opted by the Evil Eisner Empire???
