I thought that would be the case...when I first saw this thread, I called both iDine & Diner's Club, to inquire about some specifics re: how & when the respective benefits were applied--& how, specifically, a charge to a card that is "flagged" by iDine, actually gets picked up by them, if the merchant doesn't know that the diner in question is a member.
I'm glad to see that the suspected-to-be-successful double-dip outcome has been confirmed.
BTW, I was interrupted during the composition of my original post (& subsequently did not post the partially completed post), or I would have previously posted the detail to which I've alluded.
Now all you have to do is dine in a city for which a restaurant ALSO happens to participate in the Gusto program...
