I am having a little bit of difficulty in changing the date on my next flight. My wife and I are currently ticketed and confirmed in J on QF648 leaving Perth for Melbourne on Monday night. I am trying to change it to QF802 on Tuesday morning. (Availability as of Friday afternoon WA-time is D4.) I missed catching AA's RTW desk before they closed for the day Thursday night. AA's main reservation line say they can't help me as it's an RTW issue. QF say they can't see the ticket in their system (it's a paper ticket) and therefore they can't authorize the change over the phone. Are my only two options calling AA's RTW desk during their office hours or going to the airport in Perth? I won't be in Perth until mid-day Sunday, which might be too late to get the desired seats in D inventory. (I having too much fun enjoying the vino in Margaret River! )
