Well I have previously posted that I prefer the CX J bed. I need to now qualify that with a non-bulk head CX J bed.
I flew last night from HKG - LHR in 81A and I am sure the bed does not go as flat as the other seats. I found I was not able to shimmy up the bed to the top in order to stretch my legs out straight. I then suffered from the same problem I have on BA of having to spend the whole night in foetal position.
Has anyone else noticed this or am I imagining it?
This impression could have been tainted by being spoilt on an op-up to F on the HKG-MEL and MEL-HKG sectors of my LHR-MEL trip home for Christmas.
BTW can now confirm that J class LHR-HKG and return has all plastic cutlery. Cutlery in F on the HKG-MEL return sectors was metal except for the knife (Aussie regulations).
