Having just returned from my first JetBlue experience, I was wondering if what I experienced was the norm. Not that I had a negative experience or an overly positive one - just felt that an airline three years in would have most of the bugs worked out.

1) Fare - almost a joke - paid $60 one way going up to Logan and $40 coming back to JFK. RT less than the cost of a town car service to the airport and less than the one way on Acela

2) JFK Terminal - while a breeze getting through security - the terminal was a zoo and not that crowded. I can't even imagine what it was like during Thansgiving

3) Communication - Outbound flight was delayed 35 minutes due to an inspection. No announcement was made not were any of the departure boards updated

4) Direc TV - I thought this was the big selling point of jetblue. Neither outbound or inbound flight had this service. Outbound - flight crew was overly apologetic - inbound no announcement was made at all despite flight attendants witnessing passengers fruitlessly trying to figure out how the picture comes on.

I thought this short trip would calm any concerns I had abount scheduling a longer flight with a low fare carrier. I swore off Southwest years ago because of the cattle call mentality and I am fortunate to control the airlines I travel for work.

I'm interested in the boards feedback

Thanks
