Eco-themes, as you call them, have been around since the 70's, at least.

I for one don't need new sheets every day, and I can make a towel do for more than one shower. If we're reducing the hotel costs at the same time it's fine with me. It may not show up in the bill this week, but will help keep rates from going up faster.

I speak generalizatons; you may have your exceptions to your heart's content. All I'm saying is, if you poll by age group, I'm certain you'd find that a higher percentage of baby boomers and "greatest generation" are upset about losing daily sheet changes than gen x and gen y; and that some of the causes of this include the increasing exposure to eco-themes that have happened in younger generations. No so much by parents but by schools, I think.

If you're a baby boomer or older and okay with losing daily sheet change, that's great. So am I. I'm talking about perceptions in general.
