Well for your future reference, if Jetblue says that it will give out a free ticket, it is not an open-ended ticket that we will like to think. It is a free ticket based on the fare you pay (and not even including the tax and airport fee). So if you are really delayed, maybe you should demand a $$$ voucher. I find it a very disappointed situation because I feel misguided by the agent, who announces that we all get a free ticket and if you don't call or write them, there will be no clarification of the issues.
In all honesty, it is a pretty fair way of doing it - the guy who paid more did lose more in the situation. But they ought to "advertise" it properly in the first place.
