Live from the 38th floor (top floor) of the Tokyo Hilton.

HHonors silver comped from SPG Gold last week.

11/14-11/17 booked in a regular guest room on the 26th floor. Work associates booked in guests rooms assigned to 16th and 19th floors. Another work associated booked in an executive level room on the 36th floor. All perks were received. As a silver I got free gym access. Person booked in the exec level room got full lounge access.

11/17-11/18 booked my self in an exec level room. full exec level perks, exec lounge, late check out, etc. I am on the TOP floor with a great view. Staff has been nothing but top notch.

Here's the letter verbatim:

I hope this finds you well.

I am writing to confirm our conversation earlier regarding your room booking through Expedia. As I have explained, it has come to our attention that there was a system error at the time of your booking was made which resulted in erroneous postings of room rates on Expedia.com.

however, as a gesture of goodwill, Hilton Tokyo will honor the booking you have made at the rate under Expedia. A corrective action is now in progress by Hilton and Expedia to resolve this matter soonest.
