I was in EWR friday evening for my connecting flight to AMS. I was booked into BF. They were requesting volunteers for the flight because it was severly overbooked. (Spring Break for a good portion of the country) I went to the red coat who took my BP and said he would put me on tommorrows flight and give me $400 plus hotel. He said to wait till after boarding because they can not do it before. I told him that would work and I wouldn't even need a hotel because I have family I'd like to see. About 20mins later the conceriage comes over with my boarding pass and tells me he will NOT move me to the next days flight. Only coach px can volunteer even though the red coat had already taken my BP and told me that I would be going tommorrow. I asked why I could not volunteer for the same compensation (actually less since no hotel). I was just told NO I will NOT do it!

Who should I talk to about this? Also he didn't even bother to come on board and check with the passengers in BF like he was supposed to. I boarding 1st and NEVER once saw him on the plane with a passenger. Would the I could give a care line do anything if I called?
