Again, comparing Northwest and Delta's operation to/from Hawaii is NOT the same as their Continental US service.

If you're choosing Delta vs. Northwest (the MSP-HNL on the DC-10) and do appreciate a big of legroom for an 8+ hour flight, I'd highly suggest going with Northwest. The pictures I've posted above of the respective F cabins are the only thing you need to see.

If you truly want a great meal service to/from the islands, then you should cough up the extra money and fly Continental. There's no question about this.
