Never had a problem with T4 LAX except the rental wanna be TSA that checks the BPs for the elite security line. Made my travelling companion go around to the regular line because he wasn't elite.
T1 on the other hand, "oy vey!" shoe carnival, crazy TSA agents yelling, etc etc... maybe the TSA get promoted through the terminals, they start at T1 and move up :-P hahahaha
