Just got an email from AMEX Membership Rewards:

"Important Membership Rewards Program Announcement

As of midnight EDT on July 3, 2001, TWA will no longer participate in the Membership Rewards program as a result of its transaction with American Airlines. This means that you may continue to redeem Membership Rewards points for miles in the TWA Aviators® Program through July 3, 2001.

OK - does anyone have a definitive "yes" from the AAdvantage people that my Aviators points will simply merge with AAdvantage? Will the 2 simply become one program?
