Wow, that photo makes the damage look almost insignificant. I'm trying to get in contact with the Israeli gent to obtain some of the photos he took (which has many detailed interior shots as well as some of the now non-existent golf course!). I'll host some of them if I can get them. Most of my photos were just of the lead up to the storm, and then my battery ran out before I could take much of the aftermath.
From searching the web it's pretty obvious that the coverage of the effects in the Yucatan are very thin. I see many wondering if they will be able to vacation there are the beginning of November! Reliable, in country, reports I have read suggest that power and water won't even have been returned to the majority before mid November.
