I was at a hotel in Capitol Hill recently and the man in the room next to mine came in about 11 pm, obviously back from his first ever visit to the Hill. He called his wife to tell her all about the excitement. Fine, but he was so loud he woke me up. And he wasn't on the room opposite my headboard, but on the far side. I put up with it for a minute (hey, I'd just come back from a reception on the Capitol too ) but when he kept going I started banging on the wall until he got the message.
