C is Varig's full fare Business Class and definitely earns 125% status miles. If you were booked in D, which is discounted BC, I would give AP a call. I was booked in this class (within a RTW) a couple of times and always got the the bonus.

I know that Varig also uses booking codes R, J & Z for business class but I can not confirm if these earn 125% or only 100%.
