Unhappy

Today I was on a Pinnacle CRJ (50 seater) from MEM-MOB seated in 2D and the man in 2C was probably 350 #+ and had a lot of trouble wedging his body in to the seat. I am 140 # and was scrunched against the window. They did not have any seat belt extenders on board but there were some vacant seats up front and two seats together in the back had some kind of arrangement where you could put two seat belts together. The flight was almost but not quite full so they got the two people in those seats to move up front and put him into the seats in the back.

I was on a CRJ MOB-MEM two weeks ago there was a lady sitting next to me who weighed no more than 100 # and she put it very well when she complained (without any prompting from me) that the seats were "designed for children."

It is very discouraging and disapointing that airlines are so insensitive to passenger comfort. We simply must have federal regulations specifying minimum seat size.
