My corporate laptop has Norton. My desktops at home have AVG & Avast, along with Zone Alarm. Can't complain about any of them.

If you do plan to use Zone Alarm, do not update it whenever it bugs you to. I'd wait for a week or so to make sure it doesn't break anything. Zone Alarm has been known to cause an occasional crash while updating

I tried McAfee and will never, ever use it again.
