where can I buy the genuine MREs used by the US military? I'd like to keep a couple of those with me on those no-meal/no-snack flights.(or for times when hotel room service all taste the same)

I googled MRE but all of the results are non-military-spec MREs. I want to find the EXACT same ones eaten by our
soldiers.

If I gave the local US military base a ring, would they sell
me some? Are the MREs made in-house by the military
or contracted out? If contracted out, what company makes
them?
