And I just bought my son the tiny Coby for $90, had I done it a year before the cheapest would have been twice that and the year before twice that, etc. The money "lost" in not buying a more expensive model will be recouped if you have to buy another because the prices keep dropping (although logically there may not be too much room for them to drop more, then again cheap crappy CD "walkmans" can sometimes be had for as little as $9!)
