I can't get the link to work (I get to the webpage and it hangs up on "opening") but from the description I experienced a new bed in the Westcheser Ren.

No question - the newest mattress is very, very comfortable as are the abundance of pillows.

Had I been asked the only thing I'd suggest changing would be to emulate the Westin Heavenly Bed "technology" by adding a layer (think it's called a "down" blanket under the "duvet" which is somewhat heavy and I personally find it too warm and heavy (though that's probably a minority opinion).

However, if Marriott continues to leave a standard blanket in the closet, for me it's case closed.

I did experience the Marriott version of the Heavenly Bed in the Ren Del Monte Lodge in Pittsford, NY. Only discernible difference between it and the Heavenly Bed was the color of the cover of the thick comforter/duvet which comprises the topmost layer.

I think beds, pillows, linens etc etc are a matter of personal taste and the one I prefer is in our home (and I would guess that holds for many).
