I have a Cat 6 certificate to use before the end of the year and want to put it to good use.

First of all, that Cat 6 cert can be extended an additional year (unless you've already done it once)
Secondly, my stays are usually at Fairfield Inns, but they have also upgraded their beds, and I've found them to be a major improvement over what was there before. I'm sleeping a lot better since the change over.
