There actually was a thread about tipping in the F terminal. IIRC, there was a very, very broad consensus among FTers that tipping airline staff is not appropriate, especially in Germany.

However, I'm very interested in this 12 seat F compartment you mention. Was this an evaluation flight featuring the newly designed F class configuration mentioned in another thread on this board? Please elaborate.
