"It is isn't a joke. You can really rack up the segments. One trip with a connection each way will earn you 12 segments. Do that once a week, and you will go from 0 to Platinum in two months.

"You just have to make sure that your fare is above $800 each way, which FC almost always is. BF earns sextuple segments, but the per mile segment yield isn't as high as domestic.

"As a result of the triple segments promotion, I have taken CO over DL or AA in cases where CO was more expensive or required me to go a little bit out of the way. This promotion has cemented my loyalty to CO."
