Don't dare try to access the Schengen lounge at AMS as PE with 2 kids

First thing I asked was if "I could buy a lounge voucher for the second kid as I knew that as PE I was only allowed access with 1 guest". OK I knew I could not buy a voucher anymore but it is new news and I thought that the agent may be flexible since it was a small child and after all I am "Elite Plus" with this airline.

I was firmly told that AF set the new rules and:

1. I could not buy a voucher anymore since August 1st.

2. I was only allowed access with 1 guest.

So I said I could not leave one of the kids outside and that I would use either the Globeground or Menzies lounge with my PP and moved on.

All in all not nice and in complete contrast to the lady operating the desk at one of the EWR President Club lounges who invited the 4 of us in and only put 1 person on the PP slip.
