Checked in at the airport just now and found a last minute equipment change from an MD-80 to a 737.
The system had automatically reassigned me an exit row aisle on the new equipment (from 21C to 14C), which was very nice and not something United's system would do (except by pure luck).

wow. when this has happened to me on CO, i was not reassigned the exit row.
maybe a technology (dare i say?) enhancement.
