AA is always going overboard with their security this and security that drivel. They all need to take a chill pill. There is nothing 'special in the air' about an AA plane that puts it at a greater security risk flying MIA-LGA than my CO jet flying FLL-EWR.
A bunch of white haired business men standing in line to use the forward lav is about as much of a security risk as the pilot hijacking his own plane.
Why not just say "for the privacy and comfort of our first class customers, coach customers are asked to use the main cabin lavatories and refrain from entering the first class cabin" and "please minimize crowding at the forward cabin so the flight attendants have easy and safe access in and out of the galley while serving." Is that not the real reason these announcements are being made anyway?
