So hopefully this isn't OT but...
"Is 2P worth it?"
I fly UA 3-5 times a year midcon, 1-2 transcon, 1-2 transatlantic. This year I am at the upper range, so there's a chance I will make 2P, if I pay about $200 extra to make a transatlantic flight on *A rather than something else. Is it worth it? Yes, I know, it's all relative, but I am interested to hear from 2Ps who have to make a moderate effort to maintain that status but have no realistic chance to ever make 1P or above... Are you happy? Do you notice the difference in terms of op-ups, treatment overall, etc.? Is permanent E+ "worth" the extra effort it takes to maintain 2P? Thanks.
(My feeling is that if being 2P gets me 1 op-up of any kind during the year along with E+, then it's worth it, but what do
I know!?!)
