freakflyer, maybe you aren't aware of all the possibilities with HP. Any ticket booked online gets a 3,000-mile bonus. So four tickets gets you another 12,000 points. That's 24,000 points total. And on HP, a free domestic-U.S. trip is only 20,000 off-peak. They are the only airline, I believe, that still offers it at that level.
Also, part of my point is that you could make HP your No. 2 carrier or such, and thus maintain status, and probably save your company or clients a lot of money in the process.
But you are free to choose whatever airlines work best for you, and maybe HP doesn't. HP doesn't work best for me, either -- yet -- although I think I will be switching perhaps in the next year. Good travels to you.
