I've flown F from AUS-ORD and AUS-DEN on a CR7. Upgraded using 500-milers and feel like it was a pretty big waste. AUS-ORD had a one-hour ground hold, yet no drinks were offered. After takeoff, and an interminable wait for the seat belt light to be turned off, the flight attendants quickly served drinks and were generally helpful and attentive. The only white wine choice was a bad Pinot Grigio. I was expecting a meal on this 2.25-hour flight, but only got a "snak pak" with chips, cheese and crackers.
I don't think I'd do this again...
