Update: its now July 2005.

A few months ago I rcvd two letters from a debt collection agency based in Canada. I replied to one and stated that i am disputing the charges and attached the letters I had sent to Amex and the accident report. Since then I have not heard beep (maybe three months now). I have checked our credit scores and nothing has been lodged against us.
