This is my first post and I am hoping someone may be able to shed some light. I have been playing with delta.com's award ticket availability system so that I will be prepared when it is time to book 331 days in advance for a vacation I am planning.

One thing that I am not understanding is the following: When I look for flights from MCI to SJD on June 8, 2006, I see the following Skychoice ticket available (has a connection in SLC).

Delta 4029 * Coach MCI 6:05am
08 Jun 2006 SLC 7:35am
08 Jun 2006 0 SkyChoice

Delta 1701 Coach SLC 10:25am
08 Jun 2006 SJD 1:30pm
08 Jun 2006 0 SkyChoice

But if I choose MCI to SLC on the flight search and then separately, SLC to SJD it shows the same flights that I was being shown when I chose MCI to SJD except that both are listed as Skysaver tickets instead of a Skychoice ticket.

My question is if I call Delta and tell them what I found would they let me book a Skysaver ticket instead of a Skychoice ticket for MCI to SJD.
