I've been trying out my new Cardo Scala 500 this morning, and I've got mixed feelings at the moment. Fit, form factor, functionality and volume are all wonderful, but I seem to get more static than I'd like. It doesn't appear to be a function of the distance from the phone to the headset; it sounds pretty much the same whether the phone is 8 feet or 8 inches away.
My home is pretty RF-rich, though, with both 2.4Ghz dual-line cordless phones and 802.11G router/AP providing access for both a laptop and a PC. I'll have to see what happens when I'm in a "cleaner" area.
