Hi,
July 1- July 3rd
Room 980
I arrived at the hotel about 430pm after an AA flight from LAX.
I went up to the 9th floor to check in and was seen quickly by the concierge and was given 980. ( i had paid for an Exec floor room as the standard rooms had been sold out when I made the reservation)
Despite having in my profile ( a room away from the elevator), 980 is close ( 2-3 doors from the elevator and the Executive lounge so there was some noise when the lounge was busy ( notably at breakfast and early evening) but the noise was not too bad.
Nothing special about the room although it is very nicely decordated with a flat screen tv. The washhand basin area is a liitle small as it has the sink, the hairdryer and the coffee maker.
Turndown service was very good as the curtains were clsoed, bins emptied, cholates put on the bedside table and towels replaced.
The lounge is open all day with breakfast( the french vanilla coffee from the machine was very good), lunchtime cookies and snacks, evening snacks and drinks.
That weekend the Hilton WDW had a convention of the Little People of America for the week and the hotel was very busy and lots of steps at the front desks and bars to assist them. One evening by the poolthey had a "Survivor" Style evening.
Downtown Disney is just across the road and there is a bus to the theme parks every 30 mins ( for Epcot/Mgm and Magic Kingdom etc)
The fitness center is very good ( free for me) and there two large swimming pools to relax in with two hot spas up a path and iwith a few trees creating a feeling of semi privacy.
I spoke to one of the concierges ( John who is excellent) and he had moved me away from 908 to 105x to avoid the noise form the lounge but had been moved back to 980.
Despite being busy on Sunday 3rd July I was able to get a 2pm check out ( check out time is 11am) with no problem.
Overall a very nice hotel.
Regards
TBS
