Given that the new fare is fully flexible and refundable ( at least the $149 that I paid additionally is and is the amount showing as the ticket price ) then I think that this is a website bug. How can it not be an error for the website to tell me that to make a change will be $33 when it should be free?
Ok; in that case, it is certainly a software issue. It's a pity there seems to be no way (for a mere mortal like me at least) to easily check the actual booking class of a flight segment.
btw, there is no $16.50 to pay for a telephone res when using residual credit, so the only cost is the $30 (+GST is applicable) change fee
Thanks for that; I was not sure of this as I still have not successfully done it. I tried to use my $76 credit recently for a new booking and the quoted fare came out at $15 more than simply booking the flight over the web site; this was
with my credit being used.
