But the historic buildings are all air conditioned ( for comfort as well as for the furnishings, which must be kept at a constant temperature ) and there are several taverns and places to get drinks. If you're worried about the heat, Busch Gardens is a killer....go early or late. Late is actually more fun, I think.If you like barbeque, try Pierce's, about 15 minutes outside Williamsburg proper. It's a local thing and really good. Have a great time!!
